Posturing For Better Health

There is a great likelihood that we could all be in better heath than we currently are. More than likely, we could all exercise a little more than we do and do a better job of eating healthy food for our bodies. I know this is certainly the case for me. Maybe, we could quit smoking or drink fewer adult beverages on the weekends. Most of us are not perfect and will never be - or never strive to be,and that's ok. Even so, we could still do a few simple things for our bodies to help it help us live a better existence.

One of the best things we can do for ourselves is to shed the excess weight we have hanging around our body. Excess weight - fat - is a leading contributor to heart disease and diabetes. It also hurts our posture, and makes it tough for us to sit or stand correctly. Poor posture can lead to back and bone problems in life. Possibly the need for a posture brace or worse.

I'm not saying that we need to be T - totalers when it comes to diet and exercise, far from it. What I am saying is that maybe we need to smoke a few less cigarettes or drink a few less beers, or skip dessert a few times a week because every little bit we can do will help us out in the long run.
